The NOREX Select Enterprise Architecture and IT Innovation Workshop will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5 and 6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Anaheim – Orange County in Orange, California. Join your peers for two days of meaningful IT collaboration!

Business and IT alignment is the essence of Enterprise Architecture. With complexity ever increasing, join fellow, large organizations to discuss modernized approaches to execute on delivering the information needed for the enterprise landscape. Take in member presentations and Q & A, robust EA sessions, and all the additional advantages of networking exclusively with fellow members this November.

NOREX Select is a private network of technology professionals from large organizations who exchange information in a highly confidential, vendor-free environment. This is a no cost Workshop for NOREX Select members and invited guests.

Session 1: EA Tooling and Best Practices
Senior Enterprise Architects from Molina Healthcare, Oleg Chaikovsky and John Kealoha will present on their current practice methodologies including an updated EA Roadmap Management Process, Standards Management, Code and Architecture Design review, patterns and models for cloud and DevOps, and consultative services provided to Molina’s business units.

Session 2: Transforming IT via Enterprise Architecture
Director of IT Enterprise Technologies, Scott Infante shares FirstEnergy’s shift to a Cloud First strategy and how they re-developed their EA in order to support the organizations new strategy and IT delivery model, while aligning with business objectives.

Also included in this session, what steps, strategy and lessons learned have members experienced to transform the IT organization with EA? Knowing that aligning the business architecture with a mature EA will position the organization with a higher ability to execute business strategy, how did organizations get started?

Discussion on how the EA team can reduce the complexity associated with digital transformation and ensure consistency across the business.

Join CIO Robyn Messerly, as she provides insight on Nebraska Furniture Mart’s data strategy. With a service cloud now serving as a source of truth, this large retailer is able to expose data at a layer outside of the ERP system and integrate an API first strategy to gain benefits in a real-time platform with accurate data.
